What’s been happening:

After his graduation in 1954, Bill worked for the Army Ordnance Corp. in New Jersey. In 1961, he began a career at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in Livermore, California, which continues to the present. He held a number of senior positions in national security programs, culminating in the position of Principal Deputy Associate Director for the nuclear weapons program. He retired in 1991, but he continues as a part time employee and consultant for certain national security programs. Bill has been married to his wife Dori for 55 years. They have three grown children and six grandchildren. Their hobbies include travel, physical fitness, boating and flying in their own airplane.
